2 slabs St. Louis Style Pork Ribs
8 tablespoons rib rub ofchoice (we use Spice and Tea Exchange blends)
Cut slabs of ribs into four pieces, and follow above directions for seasoning and wrapping.
Wad up some foil and seton bottom of crock pot so that ribs have something to sit on without touchingthe bottom of the pot. Pour 1 cup ofwater into the crock pot making sure it’s not so much water that it comes overthe top of the wadded up foil.
Set ribs on top of foil –leaning the ribs together to support each other from falling down. Gently placelid on crock pot and set on high.
Cook for 3 hours until meat is just starting to pull away from bones.
Preheat grill or oven to broil. Let ribs rest uncovered for about 30 minutes. Brush with sauce of choice,then place under broiler or, on grill, three minutes per side to color. No sauce needed!
