About 1 cup
1/3 cup mayonnaise*
1/3 cup full-fat sour cream*
½ cup buttermilk*
3 tablespoons of Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ cup of fresh herbs of choice (parsley, cilantro, chives, basil, or amixture of any or all!)
1 clove of garlic, minced or pressed
2 tablespoons green onions, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Whisk all ingredients together well andrefrigerate for at least ½ hour and never buy
Hidden Valley Ranch unless you absolutely have to!
* Note from Cheryl: Quality ingredients matter. I highly recommend Primal Kitchen mayonnaise, which is made with high-quality ingredients and utilizes avocado oil instead of vegetable oil. So important because it turns a suspect ingredient into a "healthy fat" ingredient! Similar with buttermilk and sour cream. If it is an option, I recommend full-fat (always) and organic.
