Seared Tuna Steak


Sushi grade Tuna

Spicy Tuna Rub

Avocado oil


Rice Wine vinegar

Fresh cilantro



Generously apply tuna rub to both sides of steak.

Heat avocado oil over medium heat.

Sear to desired doneness (I like mine very rare, so it's less than a minute each side).

Remove and chill.

Separately, combine 1 avocado, a splash of rice wine vinegar and cilantro to taste in a food processor and pulse.

Serve tuna sliced on a bed of the avocado puree and "decorate" with Siracha.


Serve with a salad, coconut rice, or often I serve with fresh raw spring rolls.  Easy and quick!
