Spiced Sweet Potato Mash


Serves about 6


  • 3 sweet potatoes
  • 1/2 Tbsp cumin
  • 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/8 C liquid to desired consistency (unflavored almond or coconut milk, organic whole milk, coconut oil, olive oil)


Preheat oven to 400.

Wrap the sweet potatoes in foil and roast until fork tender, about 45 minutes.  Remove and let cool.

Peel the potatoes, cut into 1" pieces, and transfer to a large bowl.  Add the remaining ingredients and mash well with a potato masher or immersion blender.  Serve warm.
